Rajasthan's beautiful Pink City Jaipur, was the stronghold of a clan of rulers whose three hill forts and with beautiful constructed palaces, havelis in the city are important attractions. Known as the Pink City because of the colour of the stone used exclusively in the walled city, Jaipur's bazaars sell embroidered leather shoes, blue pottery, tie and dye scarves and other exotic wares. Western Rajasthan itself forms a convenient circuit, in the heart of the Thar desert which has shaped its history, lifestyles and architecture.

There is a feast in store for tourists. Attractive monuments where one can breathe the fragrance of history. Comfortable and luxurious hotels, once the proud of kings, parks, gardens, and excursions of nearby places of interest, make Jaipur a tourist's paradise.

The colourful and intricately carved monuments are adequately matched by the lively spirit of fanfare, festivity and celebration of the people. Even today, one can find weather beaten faces with huge coloufrul trurbans, fierce moustaches and lips that spontaneouslya crease into a heart warming smile.

Climatic Conditions:

Summers are quiet warm with temperature rising up to 45 'C and proper care should be taken of water intake to stay fit during these conditions. In winters days are usually fine but during the night time temperature might drop to about 3 'C. Best time to visit Jaipur is during the months of October to March.
